Fall 2020
Following his 2020 graduation from the University of South Carolina School of Law, Mr. Matthew Gurr returned to the Board, where he previously served as a 2019 summer law clerk. While attending law school, Mr. Gurr was selected as a Department of Energy Scholar for the Department of Commerce’s Office of Sustainable Energy and Environmental Programs, and participated in the Environmental Law Clinic. Prior to law school, Mr. Gurr served in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Jedidiah Blake II is a 2020 graduate of the George Washington University Law School, where he obtained his J.D. with a concentration in Government Procurement Law. While in law school, Mr. Blake was the Senior Notes Editor for the Public Contract Law Journal, as well as an intern with the Federal Election Commission, the Transportation Security Agency the United States Agency for International Development, and the Millennium Challenge Corporation.
Mr. Benjamin Phillips is also a 2020 graduate of the George Washington University Law School, obtaining a concentration in Government Procurement Law. Mr. Phillips is a former law clerk of the Board, having participated in the CBCA summer law clerk program in 2019. While in law school, Mr. Phillips served as a Notes Editor for the Public Contract Law Journal and also interned with the General Services Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, and the law firm of Frankel PLLC.

Ms. Ann Willet, a fall 2019 law clerk with the Board, is finishing her law degree this year at the George Washington University Law School in the Government Procurement Law Program. Ms. Willet recently was awarded the Murray J. Schooner Scholarship for Government Procurement Law which honors Murray J. Schooner, a well-known figure in the government contracting community.
Ms. Jennifer Sandusky recently joined the Board as a full-time Attorney Adviser. Ms. Sandusky completed the L.L.M. program in Government Procurement Law at the George Washington University Law School early this year and was honored with GW's 2019 Coalition for Government Procurement Scholarship.
Ms. Amanda DeLaPerriere, a former law clerk with the Board, is finishing her law degree this year at the George Washington University Law School in the Government Procurement Law Program. Ms. DeLaPerriere was awarded the Honorable Ruth C. Burg Scholarship for Government Procurement Law which honors Judge Ruth Burg, a champion of diversity and inclusion in the government contracting community.
